How much would I be able to get?

CaseyMazur

Hello, I was wondering how much I would be able to get if I sold my GT 710. I have the original box and all accessories. Just wanted to see if I'd be able to get enough money to buy a GT 1030 or RX 550 for my gaming system. I will be keeping my GT 610 for the extra ports though.

Thanks.

EDIT: For anyone asking why I have such a shit card, I got it when I was 11 so I didn't really care as long as I could use something for sub $50.

You need to figure that out for yourself. There are a lot of things we simply don't know.

  • Where you're selling it (online, locally)
  • What websites you're using
  • What the market conditions are like in your area
  • Your ability to make ads

Aside from not knowing that, you'd have to do your own research into local market conditions to gather what you'd get, how low you're willing to sell it for, how badly you need the money, etc.

Honestly. You're not going to get much. It's a borderline pointless card.

Dude, I wouldn't put a GT 710 in a low end HTPC, much less buy one.

You'd be luck to find someone willing to buy it from you for the cost of shipping. (They're like $40 new, so maybe $10-15 if that)

Maybe if you're lucky you'd get 30 of what ever currency you use, but really the GT 1030 and RX550 are all pretty much not worth the money*, you'd really wanna save up and buy something like a GTX 750ti or R9 370X 2nd hand, maybe go as far as an R9 380X, I have said card and it's pretty good given the bargain I got it for 6 months ago.

* We haven't seen the RX550 performance to price, but it'd need to be around $50 to make any sense if we extrapolate it's performance based on the other RX series cards.

Yours faithfully

I would save it in a bin for any future projects you might do if you're into DIY stuff

Otherwise I'd say you'd be lucky to get $30
