So im buying the Cooler master hyper 212 and im wondering, what i can OC my 4670k too (safely)

CPU: FX-8350, GPU: xfx radeon r9 290, RAM: corsair venegance 8gb, STORAGE; seagate barracuda 1TB hdd, SSDnow kingston 120gb, CPU COOLER: CM hyper 212 , CASE: fractal design XL, PSU: corsair CS 650w 80+ gold MOBO: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

Just try and see what you get

Just don't aim for 5Ghz

I know it depends on the chip, but what would the safe amount to go for, if you catch my drift ;)

you should be able to get to 4.0 without trying but beyond that is unknown. My last cpu got to 4.5 but my current one is having difficulties at 4.1.

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory
