Why am I getting a black screen?

Hej, so recently i bought a new ASUS Rx 460 and I installed the drivers and everything needed and when i Launched My favorite game, crashed after a while. Played for like around 5 minutes or more, *Pabamm* back screen, recovers, says that my display drivers had stopped responding and recovered. Some times it even stays dead and i need to unplug the PC from the wall. I tested other games too, older titles like GTA San Worked for longer up to 30 minutes maximum, but then the same symptoms. Games like LoL, WoW and Other E-sports dunked me the same symptoms. AAA Games barely got to loading when already giving me the symptoms. There was a exception, Games like Growtopia (lmao) or just small file sized games didn't crash at all.
Could anyone give me any clues what I need to bump up to get this machine working correctly?

Well it sounds like you got a chip that can't run at the voltage it's set at. You can RMA the motherboard for that.

+1 RMA: sounds faulty...the kind of stuff I've been getting when I'm overclocking to find the upper limit of my card's capability).

Haven't overclocked yet, nor do i think i will.

As Energycore says, it sounds like it's having trouble handling its stock settings...if you have another PC user in the house, or a backup PC that'll support it you could try it in another system to see if you get the same result but...to be honest...it sounds like you've got a faulty card...it happens...you just have to RMA it.

Just a thought but, did you overclock your old card? If you've got an overclocking app running in the background set to launch at start up it might be overclocking the new card without you realising it.

I did OC my old card, but the Oc didn't stay. I can try Uninstalling the App and trying to play the games.

If you've got that app set to launch on startup then it might be causing problems for the card but otherwise it shouldn't be affecting it. You could try using the app's refresh button on the card (I'm not sure if it actually alters the cards bios settings but it might be worth trying on the off-chance that something in the Bios got tweaked accidentally).

If the overclocking app isn't affecting it then maybe check the motherboard acceleration and performance settings and re-run them with the new card seated (it might help)...

...but if none of that works I think you just have to assume it's faulty and just RMA it.
