Posted April 24, 2017 Hi, i am curious why all the manufacturers on the new gen GPUs are putting heatsinks on their cards with a fin-design which "blocks" the air-flow from front-case fans? Would such a heat-sink design not be more "efficient" with good front-intake cooling? Posted April 24, 2017 Not really ... if they nothing conducting the heat away from component the air flow won't help it much. The reason is because it conducting the heat away from the component and than cooling down with air, it far more efficient. Magical Pineapples
