Is this game good?

For a while now I have been very distantly following the progression of Star Citizen and have a very faint idea of what the game actually is or what it has become/becoming. I am curious if It is worth it at this point in time to either hop in the alpha or to hold off until it further develops. Basically I want to know a brief explanation of why or why not it would be worth it at this point in time or in the near future (and maybe what they've done new or are going to be new that changes the game). Thanks

Nope, wait until they actually have what they claim they will. Currently it looks like a giant cash grab. But I do have hope and a project of this size does take time
