Hey guys,

I want to build a new PC, and I just picked some Parts out. Could you please tell me if that would be a solid system?

If there is a better part that would cost the same but with better peformance please let me know.

My Parts would be the following:

- Intel i5 4670k

- Noctua NH-U14S

Can i do a solid overclock with a different motherboard? If not i really do not need to spend another 50 bucks on a different motherboard, i just stick to the h87 and probably downgrade to a 4570 just to save some money for the ssd.

Edit: Why a 4570 isnt the 4670 just better?

it depends on the cpu. the mobo doesn`t matter,as long its z87. if you don`t want to OC(stock is fine for a very long time btw) then get the 4570 and ditch that noctua cooler.

no. 200mhz is nothing. if you are looking at the 4670 might as well get the 4670K and z87 board.

Should i pick up a different cooler or just use the box one instead?

I gonna look through, if it fits in my budget i grab the 4670k and a z87 motherboard, otherwise i will ditch the cooler and grab a 4570 and maybe get some more space on the ssd

if you don`t OC just use the box one.however if you get K and z87 get a cooler master hyper 212 evo to save some money.its a very good cooler for the price

Where are you shopping/located? Budget? What's the system being used for?

I might get either the evo or the Kingston V300 because its cheaper

The differences aren't really noticeable. Get the cheaper one.

You need to get a z87 mobo to oc.

Not really much of a different. Depends on pricing.

Do you need a copy of Windows or any peripherals in that budget?
