Hi i just saw this video:

 

 

 

he said the "Bios button is flashing while it is doing something"

 

so my question is: is the update done when it stopped flashing?? and the can i drag out the USB??

 

also he did not used any screen to update? i saw linus's bios update and he updated it in the bios settings Why?

 

 

also he pressed in the video the Bios button many times why??

It really is different from board to board, but there should be clear instructions in your motherboards manual.

i dont own the board yet. i just want a rog board and want to know how to update the bios to 4930k

a different boards means a different way of flashing. if you get a Mobo, you should Read the Manual

it's really simple, when I did it on the Maximus IV Extreme-Z board I used to own I did it through the UEFI using a flash drive and it pretty much took care of it in it's own. I suspect it's pretty much the same on the Rampage boards (have owned a Rampage IV Extreme board as well but never had a reason to update the BIOS. The UEFI looked pretty much the same though).

I updated the BIOS on my Rampage IV Gene the same way before I installed my processor. Just make sure that you have renamed the CAP file to the corresponding name (consult the manual for those, for each motherboard it is different). Other than that, just put the USB stick in he correct port, hold down the button until it starts to flash and when it stops, the process of updating the BIOS is done and you are good to go.
