Hi all.

I have little by little gotten hooked on making my own PC.

The rig would mostly be used for gaming but I've also started dapping into the 3D world of printing and drawing (got my first 3D printer in the mail)

The project will most likely go well into 2018 since I will have to buy the part over time.

I live in Denmark and my total budget is around 2 - 2500 €

I was thinking about 2 monitors for the rig. But those are outside the calculations for the rig itself.

These are the parts I had in mind:

                                                                                                        Amount       Price

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 2                                         1              203

CPU: Intel Core i5 7500                                                                        1             212

CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED air cpu cooler                    1               36

Graphics card: Asus GTX 1060 ROG strix                                            1             337

RAM: HyperX Fury 8GB 1866 MHz                                                        4             260

Power supply: Cooler Master V1000                                                     1             213

Cable: CableMod CM-Series VS ModFlex™ Cable Kit                          1              101

Fans 140mm: Corsair SP140 Red                                                        5               60

Fans 120mm: Corsair ML120 Red                                                        2               47

Case: Corsair Graphite 780 T                                                              1              246

SSD: Samsung 850 evo 500gb ssd                                                      2              319

Harddrive: WD Blue 6 TB HDD                                                             1               148

Total: 2182 €

What do you think and is there anything I have overlooked?

Thanks

Schmidt

this is rough but I'll take a look at it again once I have a bit more time, I tried to keep some stuff like case, fan, hdd size to whatever your original had but I don't think you need so much hdd space or ram space to be honest, plus these are things you can add as need arises without changing the rest of the system.

If it hasn't already gone to this address, here is the German PCPP website. If you want to use only one retailer like Amazon Deutschland, then while creating a system build, choose a part (CPU for Example) and while viewing it, on the left hand side should be "Show Merchants", where you would click and choose Amazon Deutschland.

7600K with H270? Why? Get Z270 or i7 7700 or Ryzen 5. Also don't get a 5400RPM drive. Also, why a 1000W PSU?

So going with Asus MAXIMUS IX FORMULA ATX LGA1151 Motherboard instead?

And then two Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive?

I've have been looking at the MSI motherboards... but there is just something about them that isn't to my taste..

And I don't mind ordering outside of denmark since there isn't tax between countries in the EU.

Ah. Look for Asus crosshair x370 and pair it with r7 1700 that i showed above.

Redid the list, used the france pcpartpicker page since the prices are a tiny bit cheaper. Does it have to be Intel? I honestly don't think an i5 is worth it at the moment; in terms of price/performance, I think the R5 1600(6Cores/12 Threads) is overall a better chip and cheaper. Based on your previous lists, seems like you want a red theme so went with a black and red case, I didn't add any led fans to the list but you can add them as you need; you probably don't need 6 though. The france pcpartpicker didn't have a 500GB samsung SSD so went with the M.2 version but you can swap it for the one from the german amazon. Finally, I personally think the RX480 8GB is a better buy so added that instead of GTX1060 but if you want 1060 because of personal preference or features you can swap it around again.
