Far cry 4 tips

Well just recently got far cry 4. It was really fun. But what I want to know is, what tips would you give to me (beginner, like just a 20 minutes of play time) I'm at the part where I just finished liberating the tower thing. It just opened up the fog and can see where I go. (Not all of the map just some.) It's at the very beggining. I walked into a place where this guy need morphine, and then all of a sudden I offered to take down the tower. Anyways yea would appreciate any tips or suggestions.

 

Also, should I play with keyboard and mouse, or controller. As of right now I'm playing controller, but it kinda feels wierd driving. I'm used to gta v driving.

definitely keyboard and mouse. it is an FPS game after all. make sure you turn off mouse acceleration. 

 

i would hunt as much as you can. you can use the loot to craft stuff. oh, and don't mind the towers in the north just yet. the north is blocked off for now

Should play with a keyboard and mouse unless your driving if you can switch a to a controller quickly.

It depends on the game. Some games like Rocket League and RE7, I prefer KB/M. But some like GTAV and Nier, I prefer controller.

What do you mean, for everybody it's blocked? Or just for the beginners? Also how do I turn off mouse acceleration?

With the Far Cry games i love to explore first, i take as many outposts and towers as i can without progressing though the story, also i go out of my way to craft as many of the upgrades to my gear as possible to enhance my ability to carry things.  Strangely i enjoy going through this process more than doing the story itself lol 

 

So far as controller/KB+M go just play with whatever feels best for you, its not a competitive FPS PvP environment so who cares.  Some games i absolutely have to play with KB+M but FC and GTA i like the good old 360 controller.

You just won't have easy access to the north until you level up. Also I personally preferred far cry 4 with a controller mainly because it's more like GTA V, a lot of vehicle action.

Follow the main story until it takes you to an outpost with the mini copter, it's not far into the game. Then acquire and upgrade the one handed grenade launcher. Combine these two and you can control the map easily after that. Soften up outposts from the air then land and mop up.

 

I used KB & M for Farcry 4 but for games like GTA/Watchdogs 2 I play with the keyboard,mouse and use controller for driving. Just leave the controller next to keyboard until I have to drive, it's not an issue swapping.

restart the game, stay there and enjoy the crab dish. wait for the bad guy to return in about 10 mins i think - game ends.

LOL it's true, wait 15 minutes at Pagan Min's table and you get one of the endings to the game.

Get the 87 ASAP. It's a sawn off 1887 shotgun that can be put into the pistol slot. Animals become a non-issue with this gun, and you only have to collect 5 diaries.

To me the first thing to do in Far Cry 4 is to hunt animals for all the crafting upgrades. I think FC4 is such an underrated game. I really enjoyed the story, the stealth combat (and also the Rambo guns blazing combat), and I think it's beautiful graphically. Everyone else seems to like Far Cry 3 better but I thought Far Cry 4 was superior in every possible way. I also thought it played much better on mouse and keyboard. It's not like the driving is a major part of the game anyways, all the trucks handle like crap. So I just drove them with mouse and keyboard too.
