The screen turns black and the monitor shows no signal, but the computer still makes noise, as if I had put it to sleep. Faulty PSU? It's VERY rare, but not really recent. I am then required to reboot.

Previously had games freezing for 2-3 seconds with sound where everyone here deemed it was probably my shitty PSU.

I'm upgrading everything in a month or so, EVGA G2 850 will be replacement. However I don't want to sell faulty hardware.

or a faulty gpu, what's your spec?

Signature. Two 980s.

Doubt it's the GPU, tried running my other card.

Plus it's happening during things like Reddit.

It's an old PSU so it's probably nearing the end of its time. It was a decent unit when new and it's probably not holding up SLI 980s in its old age.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
