Oh, you want an LGA1155 SandyBridge CPU, I think I have a Pentium G650 but it's kinda shit.

Yours faithfully

I do not know how to find the exact model

First you should go on HP website and search your model number. Then, go down to the CPU compatibilty section:

1947323c0e816596b4c82968b97b19ff.png

Then, read it and the generation (Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge)

Then go type "ARK Sandy Bridge" or "ARK Ivy Bridge"

Look at the model numbers and search them up on eBay.

Also if it says i3 2100 it is i3 2100.

Okay thanks, your welcome to put your cpu specs, maybe I'll look into it if it's better specs than this cpu. And affordable.

How much ghz and mb?

I really can't remember, I'd have to find it and stick it on my LGA1155 test bench. The CPU was lapped (I have no fucking idea why, I got it 2nd hand, I think someone was testing lapping and decided to use the cheapest CPU they could find)
Based off your motherboard you can have any of those CPUs listed there (the 35 watt ones)

Yours faithfully

The Core i5-3470T is about the most powerful CPU you can fit in that motherboard, it's a dual core with hyper-threading and runs at 3.6GHz,

I have a 65W Pentium running in mine, but that took a while to setup and fucking around with the bios so I could constantly press the escape key once and it would boot up. (The computer will turn it self off if it detects a CPU more than 35W)

Probably going with the 3.4 cpu because it's cheap and has value. Thanks!
