Formatting a drive from BIOS

How can I format a drive from BIOS?

why would you even need to do that?!

I don't think you can. If however you are installing windows/linux you can do so during the installation and or inside windows/linux you can format the drive in either file explorer or disk management.

if you want to format boot into a os. But in this case you have bad hardware. Id try booting into a linux distro.
