I5. Even though it's old haswell the extra core will make ot faster. I have it in my rig btw

Ryzen 5 1500X or Ryzen 5 1600 will do much better for that than i3 or i5. Unless you already got the motherboard and RAM for Haswell or Kaby Lake.

i would go for the i5 it has more real core an th ipc is only 15-20 %
