Ryzen Parts Pick

I'm building a ryzen 5 powered PC and I'm almost done I just need to choose between these parts:

 

Motherboard:

 

Asus PRIME B350-PLUS

Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming

 

Memory:

 

Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200

G.Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4-3200 

 

I would appreciate some feedback.

They're all from reputable companies, so I'd go with whatever matches your color scheme and/or budget best. The RAM has the same speed, so no performance difference there. And the mobos only affect features, not performance.

Motherboards is up to you, whichever you prefer. Same with ram.

 

I noticed that it looks like you're going for a 1500x though, and I'd highly suggest you get a 1600 instead. It's only $30 more and gives considerably better performance, especially considering the 1400 and 1500x aren't very good whereas the 1600/x are very decent CPUs. In fact, a 7500 might be a better buy than a 1500x.

That's not neccecaraly always correct.

they may use differnet dies, which on intel platforms would work completely fine, but on Ryzen, where some RAM doesn't reach advertised speeds, the company that makes the die can make the difference between 3200Mhz RAM running at 2133 or 2400, and the same rated speed effectively running at 3000Mhz+

Yup, I'd look at this list to see if it's possible for any Samsung b die memory to be in OP's price range.

you'll seldom see dual rank until you get to 16Gb per module

AFAIK, it means that the stick has RAM modules on one side of the PCB. And dual rank means that it has RAM modules on both sides.

Its generally a guessing game, but

 

Cas 14 3200mhz

CAS 16 3600mhz

 

Are basically Samsung B die

 

But be prepared to pay a premium
