Displaying old components

Ok so this is a bit random and i wasn't sure where to post it so im going to put it here

do you guys like displaying your old components like CPU's, RAM and graphics cards?

Nah, I either use them, sell them, store them or throw them. Displaying old stuff isn't really something I do, I have a small (60m²) apartment that's pretty minimally styled, of computer junk would be out of place.

No i dont even have many old componets i sell mine but i do have 3 old motherboards thrown in a bin somewhere

A Matrox G200, ATI Rage, and the rest were the higher-end cards from Nvidia and AMD. I had a Titan Z which is about the worst card I've ever owned.

Looking through my pile of scrap, I've dug up 2 off brand MX200 cards, a Quantum Fireball CX (I think 20GB), and a bunch of SD and EDO memory.

Also have an ATI Rage Theatre and a GeForce 6200 deployed somewhere oddly enough.

I have a box of CPUs that I like to show off, but I don't have anything on display. My first IT instructor gave me a bunch the day he retired.

Here I am thinking my collection is alright (with motherboards being repaired due to the capacitor plague, some weren't used for a long time so they didn't die before 2007). And you've got a lot of CPU that would be compatible with my almost fixed Gigabyte GA 5AA-which as far as I can tell is 1 of 2 SS7 boards that supports everything from Socket 5 and 7 without a BIOS update.

Maybe you could frame them? I have a Gigabyte Z97X-SLI motherboard in which was faulty upon purchase second hand, although it had gone past it's warranty by the time I got around to installing it. I plan to frame it using a box frame of some sort then hang it upon a wall. Not much else to do sadly D:

 

You could do a CPU wall clock like Linus has in his new office? That would look awesome in my opinion, but it would require expense for the hands.
