Why this game is so bad optimized?.

I'm having low FPS having just 58% of GPU usage.

See photo attached.

There is a way to fix this terrible experience?.

 

I have ULTRA settings activated.

im serious, i have the game and when i turned it off it killed my fps

 

 

also turn off vsync, that kills fps aswell.

yes I'm using ultra right now and I have a GTX1080 at 1080p.

I didn't understand, what?.

I use VSYNC to play better, the thing here is that the game is not using my GPU, I have plenty of power available.

i had that problem when i turned on vsync

im dead serious, turn it off and see your gpu goto 100% usage

also lens flare, that actually bumped my fps by 4

guys, is not locked.

I know how vsync works.

I have my settings configured to 60fps.

At the moment of the screenshot the fps was that amount, but it is not locked as you said.

I have issues or the game is very bad optimized.

Just humor us, try turning it off and see if that improves it. If it doesn't improve your situation you can call us idiots, It it does you can thank us and we can move on. The only effort it will take is a single mouse click. You came for help so work through the troubleshooting step being recommended or don't ask for help.

Go to NVidia control panel and chose maximum performance under power usage options for this game. Also, try different settings and see what happens. Maybe run the game as an administrator. Do multiple things, diagnose the problem, don't come here and make people guess what's wrong for you. Now I'm not saying this is your case but I'd only go to the forum as a last resort. You can figure it out. You're smart. Don't be afraid to tinker with stuff.

But, for this game I will try it.

 

Si. I did it and the game is more playable now.
For some reason, VSYNC, in my case, is not working properly and is stoping the game/gpu to produce more FPS, again, for some reason...

This is not the best game that Ubisoft has made, sadly...

Well, I got it for free so, let's try to enjoy it a little bit..

 

Thanks guys.... I had no idea that for the first time in my life, VSYNC was not well implemented on a game like this.

 

Update: I'm having weird lines on my screen due to VSYNC OFF,

Plus they're doing what they used to do in the early 2000s, reserving ultra settings for near future top of the line hardware. 1080Ti & Titan.

I bought a 1080Ti and I received the game for free.

I sold it and I bought an used 1080 of a friend at a good price, $410.

I had the 1080Ti and using ULTRA I received low FPS too.

I sold it by the way, now I have a 1080.

 

The problem is not the GPU, is the game itself.

It's very bad optimized, sadly.

Right now, I'm playing on HIGH to keep the game smoothly and flawless.

As soon as I finish the campaign I won't open it again.

Yeah the game is poorly optimized and the fact that nvidia is giving it away with their GPU's is sad.

Yup with adaptive vsync and vsync off you get bad screen tearing and with vsync on 30fps. I got the game free and thought I'd enjoy mooching around the map for 15 hrs or so before I canned it but can't manage more than 20 mins or so as it's just boring as hell.
