Ok so my 4.8 results are all over the place and I'm not sure I was ever stable at 4.8

but 4.7 in intel extream tuning my temps dropped from 72 down to 60

and intel burn test I could never run because I would hit 98 degrees on the first pass now at 77 max

gaming temps in wildlands are 45 max

do thies seem like good temps for a delided 4790k at 4.7

vcore is 1.23

and ram speed( which affects CPU temps a fuck lot more than I thought) is 2400mhz

AMD (and proud) r7 1700 4ghz-

also (1600)

asus rog crosshairs vi hero x370-

MSI 980ti G6 1506mhz slix2 -

h110 pull - acer xb270hu 1440p -

Seems ok.

Outta curiosity, how did the weird memory and bootlooping issues end up turning into?

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I don't get over 64 if I'm running IBT 1.23v @ 4.7GHz.  I'm running bare die though so a few degrees at least is to be expected.  Also a full custom loop with 2x360mm rads and no gpu in the loop atm.

So are my results about right for 1 280 rad

well since you're hitting 77 in the first pass of IBT i doubt you're fully heating the liquid in that first pass so it's likely the pump/block of the aio that is holding you back a bit.  a single 280 is pretty good for a cpu loop

20C drop is where you want to be ideally. What was gaming temp before the delid though? Intel XTU is a very hard bench to pass but a 10C+ drop is pretty good.
