Does Noctua NH-D15 fit Phanteks Eclipse P400S?

So im upgrading my case as my new CPU cooler (Noctua NH-D15) doesnt fit. I was wandering if it would fit the case im planning to buy (Phanteks Eclipse P400S). The case is supposed to fit a 165mm cpu cooler but on PcPartPicker it says its not compatible. Thanks for your help!

No. With the fans installed the cooler is 165mm high. This will not work.

CPU cooler: 160mm

Noctua NH-D15: 165mm (w/o fan is 160mm)

You can't put it without fan though

So no won't fit

The fans can be lowered or moved to the other side. It fits just fine.

The cooler is effectively 160mm tall with the fans lowered.

Here's the NH-D15 in a S340 which has 160mm of clearance for the cooler.

Seems like a very tight fit. And the color scheme is ugly lol with a generic keyboard. But glad to know it fits

Here is the NH-D15S inside the phanteks Eclipse P400S. The fan needs to be lowered down a bit to fit.

The front fan above LPX ram would make the cooler 164mm tall which is too tall for the P400S. That being said, a second fan can be mounted to the rear of the cooler if there isn't ram or large motherboard heatsinks in the way.
