Question about Bugatti Chiron

Hi all,

 

i just watched the Top Gear episode on the Chiron. I saw that while the presenter was drifting, that as he turned the wheel, the vents to the left and right of the centre console would turn with the wheel. What is this!? Are they even vents? 

That's an F in the profile pic

I had to come back and watch the clip again, and indeed, they do move, quite weirdly so...

I think they were loose...
