Rate my Budget Build

I'm planning a build for my friend. He wants a build for ~$600 that can run pretty much any game on medium-ish settings. I think did pretty good so far, but i'd like to see other people's opinions on it.

nice but i would recommend getting 2TB drive since games prety big and bigger and also 8gb is the new 4gb so youll be better off with 16 at the least

You are buying a non overclockable CPU just keep the stock intel cooler and put that money somewhere else.

It's not sub-optimal. What's sub-optimal is having a 1TB HDD and no SSD. And i'd say $30 on a CPU cooler is not that much, and it's money well spent.

I already put a 128gb SSD into there. Probably just use it as a boot drive. And the HDD is 2TB, so he'll be just fine. If he ever needs more space (which I doubt he will, he doesn't own very many games), we can just slap another in there and be a-ok.

The 480 has better performance compared to the 1060.
