no post beep or display

So I just bought and build my own desktop, and I ran into a bit of a snag here. I'v no idea what to check for can somebody help me?

msi z97 gaming 5 motherboard

evga gtx1050

ddr3 -2400 ram (16gb)

I'm sure i am missing details here but it doesn't send info to my display nor does my mouse or keyboard light up upon startup.

Do you even have a CPU or PSU? If you're missing either of those, it ain't gonna post.

Are the fans connected to the psu or mobo? If psu then you might have a dead mobo

I would check your RAM sticks. Faulty RAM will prevent a system from POSTing. If you have multiple sticks, test them one by one.
