Hey guys so i just ordered a 750D, a Rampage IV Black Edition, a 4930k, 64 gb of G.skill 2133 mhz Cl9 ram, 2x 1 tb 840 evo's, 2x WD Red 4 tb's, an RM Series 1000 Watt Psu an Asus Xonar Phebus and 2x Evga Superclocked 780ti's and i was thinking about doing a costume loop. What i came up with so far is this for the resevoir, pump, sli fitting, gpu blocks, 3/8 ID 5/8 OD Fittings and CPU Block. https://us-dc1-order.store.yahoo.net/sidewindercomputers/cgi-bin/wg-order?ysco_key_event_id=&ysco_key_store_id=sidewindercomputers&sectionId=ysco.cart&yscob=5YUtuTcmAUfhC3CHMx1O6lnHUEGasX0SJ.NAX.mQcEdrDmK32BC78oJUhldTTQ372oopJc_5E1vJ8w_jb6Q1IKHOU6du1vk9sxp9Hfw8GqO_uOBadMlmVbAHPYJr8jfXmA--

This for the rads, the fans, the coolant: http://www.aquatuning.de/shopping_cart.php/products_id/12767

and this tubing: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=78755&vpn=PFLEXA10-58-B&manufacture=Primochill&promoid=1198

Is this going to work? That will be my 4th build and first costume loop. Are there better options for the cpu and gpu blocks? (Would love black ones because i want a dark/blue rig) If you guys help me out i migth do a build log. (And i would call it 'deep sea' or smth like that)

NUUUUU

You should of used the Vengeance Pro black Ram. Corsair must of struck a deal with Asus to make Ram with complementary colors. Use the XSPC RayStorm Copper/Acetal and put Red LED in it!

Hey guys yesterday i bougth a 750D,a Rampage IV Extreme Black Edition, a 4930k, 64 gb of G.skill 2133 mhz Cl9 ram, 2x Evga superclocked 780 ti's , 2x1 tb 840 evo's, 2x WD Red 4 tb's, an Asus Xonar Phoebus and an Corsair RM Series 1000 Watt and i was thinking about watercooling:

For the rads i wanted to go with a 360,280,240 and a 140mm (All by alphacool Nexxos 60mm thick) will that fit or are the rads to thick? For the fans i was looking at 5x NB PK-2's and 3x NB PL-2's.

For the Cpu Block i was looking at the Heatkiller CPU Rev3.0 Ni-BL Socket 2011 and for the gpu blocks i was looking at the Heatkill GPU-XGtx 780-Titan Hole Edition Ni-Bl (With an Sli Fitting to bridge the two gpu's)

Are these good blocks? Are there better ones? (I would love black high performance blocks)

For the pump, resevoir, fittings, tubing and coolant i was looking at the Custom Laing D5- Bitspower Matte Black Dress Kit & Mod Top by sidewindercomputers and the XSPC glass Photon Tube Resevoir- 270mm. For the fittings i will be using 14x Black Chrome Compression fittings by XSPC (3/8 ID 5/8 OD). For the tubing i would go with the Primochill Primoflex Advanced LRT in Brilliant Blue (3/8 ID 5/8 OD). And for the coolant i will be using 2 l Mayhems Rasberry Purple.

Will that work? @Ghost (Just calling the 'master of watercooling)

How much are you looking at for everything? Just curious

I don't really have a budget but with the watercooling im @ around 5500€ . I could go crazy and spend even more but i think this will be good for me.

Ok well I guess I'll actually try to help you now :P

  • The 850D is pretty beasty, you'll have no problem with 60 thick rads you could even go a little thicker if you wanted
  • I've never heard of those blocks but I can stand by the Swiftech Apogee HD CPU block and any EK GPU block, I've heard nothing but good things about them
  • The D5 pump is really popular, works very well, and lasts a long time so good choice
  • Mayhems coolant is actually a showcase coolant and I forget why people say not to use it but I'd double check on that

Just make sure all the fittings, blocks and tubing are the same dimensions and you should be golden.

Me: Yeah I just really can't get my H220 working again, I've tried everything that was suggested in the forum.

Brian (Swiftech Support): Hmm, have you tried slapping it?
