Asus braces for a dual gtx 760, its called the asus gtx 760

We have all heard of the mars card a while ago, its time to replace it and so asus are doing what they do best, messing around and creating something odd which somehow works.

 

Suprisingly the specs are nearly identical to that of the gtx 780 so the performance will be close to that card.

It will not be competitive, its asus, it will be like the matrix, 2-3% better and £100 more. My guess is around £400-£450.

This should easily cost $500... Theoretically would be faster than the 780 since it has more ROPs but who knows. SLI isn't perfect so this may be a bad idea but if the price is good for the performance and the cooler isn't bad then I'd be for it.

Meh, I'd rather see what they can do with two 780 Ti chips on the same card. I wonder if the dual 780 will be the 790, and the dual 780 ti will be the 790 ti.......

 

I don't know how AMD would go about competing with that, their new cards are just way too hot to put two on a single card.
