AutoCAD GPU question

Anyone know if Geforce/Radeon gaming GPU work well in AutoCAD? This it make a big difference from a "professional" counterparts? Thank You!

Im using a nvidia gpu. But i dont believe that it makes a hugh difference unlike the cpu. So any gpu that meets autocad min specs should be fine whethers its amd or nvidia.

If your just doing 2D work mostly you won't see a huge benefit in getting a workstation GPU, they do have the option for GPU rendering if you plan on doing that a lot. Certain programs also will not take much use of it such as Solidworks unless you use Real View and their rendering is strictly CPU based.

from reading up on their website, appareantly it works, but they dont focus testing or development on "gaming" cards, so they dont really guarantee anything as they do with workstation cards.

AutoDesk does not approve of or test any Geforce or Radeon cards. They will work, but do keep in mind that the lowest GPU is usually sufficient. 750 Ti will do pretty much anything that a 1080 Ti will do in terms of speed, though VRAM matters if you're adding textures and interior design.

Nvidia Geforce GPU's perform waaaay better than their equally priced Quadro equivalents.
