I need help, desperately. I had posted before about my problem and @Endermandid his best to try and help me but together we couldn't fix the problem, I resorted to RMA'ing my GPU and I just got the new one back today after like a 2 week wait, I plug it in, boot up a game, and to my huge disappointment, I'm still stuttering. This is no normal stutter, its frequently every 1 second and it wont stop, I've done so much stuff and I'm just so frustrated I can't figure this out. I did BIOS, drivers, cleaned the whole PC, checked wires, tried different wires, I'm at a loss of words, can somebody please help me please... I cannot swap parts as I have no backup parts, the only thing I have that is a backup is a PSU, I have my old CX430 that I never managed to sell, but im afraid to try it because it sat out in the hot summer heat for multiple hours during a yard sale.

Edit : Things we think could be the problem.

More ram : doubtful, but possible.

New PSU : also doubtful, as I have a seasonic, which is a good brand, but possible.

Bad monitors : also doubtful, because the problem persists on both, no matter which I try, and which HDMI chord I use, but weirder things have happened.

My guess : Bad motherboard or PCI-E slot.

Yea everything gets at load fine, I don't think its the motherboard. I don't have 50$ for another stick of ram right now... I could buy a 4GB stick in April and take out the 8GB stick, just run the 4 and see if its fixed, 4 however is not enough for me to game and stream on.

How is your ram usage in games? 8gb is pretty much the minimum now for gaming - i have 32gb and regularly see 11gb or even 14gb usage

Around 70-80% give or take depending on what game I'm playing, how many chrome tabs are open, ect. Usually 74%

can you take a screenshot of the "perf" tab in the task manager, both idle and when a stuttering game is running???

if you could select the memory and hard drive that would help.

something like that (but select the memory instead of the CPU);

Gears of war 4, fallout 4, dragon age inquisition is what I tested. But the thing is, it wasn't this way all the time. When I got gears 4 on launch october 2016 it ran fine on my 370 on medium graphics, got my 480 in December and it ran ok for the first month then just recently I moved and suddenly its bad. But the PC was wrapped safe in like 5 blankets so it didn't get damaged or roll around, I cleaned it all out....

I would take everything out and reseat the lot. Try it in on a bench removed from the case and try again

Re-seat my entire PC, like build it from the ground up? I can do that if I must, lets wait for wkdpaul's response first, see what he suggests.

ofc. You can take it out in like 20 mins tops. Just make sure its a nice flat surface, preferably on rubber mattings. Check CPU cooler mounting, re-fit the ram and refit the GPU then connects the PSU cables.

I cant see the picture due to limitations on works system, can someone tell me whats happening with ram, cpu, drive and GPU utilisation please

yeah got it.

Could you try disabling the virtual memory, reboot and try again?

Let me know if you need a step by step to turn off the virtual memory, I have one on hand! ;)
