Lol dammit. Meant to say using, I'll change that. As for impedance, eh. I meant that in future, I may buy headphoens that are harder to drive

What's his problem with it?

High end volume distortion, he said above 75%. However he also said he had a faulty unit. I'm not sure if this was referring to the issue which occured when he unplugged his headphones. Also what do you think of the Audioengine D1? I've seen it present in many setups and was wondering why it was so popular. Also sorry for the essay here, TIA

He really needs to pull that video down.  It's incredibly misleading, the fact that he did the review knowing it was faulty without contacting the person who lent it to him or Schiit support is beyond me.

It's too cheap, and mostly sold from schiits site. He can make more money telling people to buy a more expensive product using his Amazon affiliate link.

As an owner of the fulla 2 I will say that if you turn your pc volume all the way up then you barely have to turn the fulla 2 up at all.  When gaming I tend to turn it up maybe 5% and can hear everything clearly and it's still pretty loud while playing CSGO or any other game.  When listening to music the loudest I'll turn it up is maybe 40% and then it's pretty loud with my AKG k712s.  But as you stated, it seems he might have had a faulty unit and should have notified to manufacturers before reviewing it, that's pretty crappy of him to release a review on a faulty unit.

So from all the replies, I've learnt that the D1 h=is off the list and the Fulla 2 had a very bad review from one guy even when he knew it was faulty. Any thoughts on the Dragonfly Red and Fiio E10K?

fulla 2 offers better value. There is a reason why I didn't add the Fiio E10k to my thread, dragonfly is well good, but a bit expensive for what you get

Okee doke. If I can't get the Fulla 2, which I actually can, would the Dragonfly be the next best thing?

^^

Only reason I said this is because my local HiFi shop sell the DRgonfly and will let me test and refund it if necessary. Bit more of a hassle with the Fulla 2.
