£950 gaming build with monitor

So I would assume you have the OS, keyboard, and mouse?

Managed to get a 1070 in there, 30 pounds over budget. If you can't afford the extra get a single 240 SSD instead of a HDD and a SSD:

Correct me If I'm wrong, but won't the H110M board require a BIOS update to work with that kaby i5?

Why not get a 450-550W PSU and a B250 board to fit a better CPU?

forgot to add in a disclaimer again :P most of the mobo manufacturers released the bioses back in october 2016 though and it's almost 5 months, i'm guessing most of the older h110 boards have been phased out already.

Yes, but he will have to deal with a G4560, the G4560 doesn't play too well with the RX 480 in DX 11, the 1060 would be a better pick with that CPU unless he gets a i5:

It's a G4620, besides just throw in a 1060 then...

My build allows for a CPU upgrade, and comes with fast DDR4 3ghz ram, more storage and a good PSU.

It's just 200 MHz faster, and that's pretty much it. Still a dual core HT part which isn't recommended with mid-high end AMD cards unless you stick with DX 12/Vulkan, so yeah better off with the 1060 if he gets the pentium.

Or you could be stuck with locked CPU's on non overclockable hardware.

Or go lower end for CPU so you have an upgrade path with a not massively limiting CPU.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not doubting your decisions, I was just somewhat suprised...

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

Does @ishdafish2_ have any parts from the past?

Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.
