GTX 650

Hello. I am wondering what performance I could expect from a GTX 650 with a single gigabyte of VRAM. I normally play games like GTAIV and GTAV, as well as GMod, Portal, Portal 2, Kerbal Space Program, and Bioshock. 1080p or 1440x900. I have very low needs. I need at least 25FPS for my games, and I would prefer not all of the lowest settings, but I understand that if I want to play something like GTAV I would need to drop every setting. Could I get nice results with this card? It would be for a side system. My current PC has a 980ti, so I'm all set there.

It will run Portal (2) and Gmod just fine, no problem there achieving 60fps there. If Bioshock is properly optimized like Infinite, same story.

I am not sure about the other games though.

It is a bit underpowered , i am using a gtx 650TI BOOST SC 2gb from EVGA and i run GTA V at ultra textures , MSAA OFF FXAA on the other settings are on high , i never get more than 1.6gigs usage at 1080p and im getting around 60-80 fps never gets below 60 , but i don't know about the 650 with 1 gig i think u are better off getting an RX 470 Or if thats too expensive for u get an rx 460 better value and still descent at games hope i helped

It ran Crysis 2 (which was pretty demanding) at 1080p ish at around 20 ish fps all max so you should be good

The original Bioshock is well optimized I assure you that, an old GTX 560 I had could play it marvellously.

Please don't give me card recommendations. I asked for the 650. I will already be recieving one, and I just wanted to get a better idea of the performance, I know it will be enough for simple stuff on my secondary system, I just like learning from the wealth of knowledge on the forums.

I see , I  thought ud be buying  it for reviving an old pc of some sort ,  thats why i recommended something else , but yeah I guess it was my bad .

Well in my experience most of the games you mentioned will run just fine with what you require. GTA does need a powerfull CPU, so keep that in mind. Erg Nederlandse naam trouwens.

Which i3? My 980ti system (I know it's a very sad bottleneck) has an i3-6100.
