So I've been tinkering around with my gtx 680 and I've got the memory clock up to 7516mhz, I'm just wondering how would I know when I've gone too far?

Discovered that this increased the fps at 1440p on Skyrim but did nothing for Borderlands 2.

Also discovered that Borderlands 2 is use all 2GB of ram. Is that normal? I think it was doing that on my old 1080p monitor aswell.

Both games are on max settings.

2GB is generally not enough for 1440P so yes that is normal and you should probably consider stepping up to something with more Vram...

You won´t get any more performance out of your card as long as you are using all your Vram :/ Which Skyrim is probably not ;)

You'll know you've gone too far when you run a stress test (such as furmark), and it:

A) freezes/crashes

B ) you get artifacts (random anomolies) on the screen when it's running

Hope this helps :)
