Looking for new laptop

As for mentioned from my previous post, I have bricked my motherboard on my HP Pavilion dv7 (a $700USD laptop that doesn't even come with a discreet graphics card)and I'm looking for a PC either the same price, or a little higher that had much better performance, the highest I'm willing to pay is about $800 to $850 USD.

 

The Pavilion had a i52450M Dual core hyperthreaded CPU running at 2.5 GHz that turbos to 3.1, 4gb ddr3 RAM running at 1333MHz, and a shitty Intel 3000 graphics processor.

 

I want to see the recommendations that everyone else has before making a final decision.

I wish you could afford a Desktop. Laptops arent optimal for gaming.

I wish I could afford a desktop, but I want something that is mobile so that I can take with me (in case my little sister wants to play on the Xbox)
