It's just your room?

Echoing is just one of those things that people have to deal with, or pay money to get noise-cancelling things.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

under 4 bucks for something and you expected it to not suck? you'd be better off plugging directly into the microphone jack on the PC itself.

because it is an absolute piece of garbage?

I understand that it is 4 dollars, but I unplugged it and it still happens. The problems started when I plugged in and unplugged the adapter.

I've had one time installing and launching an app screwed up the audio on something else, even uninstalling it didn't fix it, I had to uninstall the affected programming and reinstall, maybe try removing and reinstalling your audio drivers.

right click the little speaker in the bottom right of windows and click playback devices

Ok so what I did is I went to the little arrow at the bottom right corner, and clicked the audio button (It may be different from your because I have a Dell Prebuilt(Yeah I know pre-Builts kind of suck and a overprised)) Once I was in the app I clicked advanced and click reset audio settings. This helped a ton, but I can still year a bit of echo from my blue snowball. On the other hand my microphone from my C920 Webcam echos really bad, like it does the beeping sound. But I really don't care about that mic, because most of the time I use the blue snowball mic anyway
