Will a i7 7700 bottleneck a GTX 1080 ti?

Figured out that an unlocked CPU won't be a big difference in gaming, and I'm not sure if it will bottleneck a GTX 1080 ti. Help pls.

@LinusTech please do a special on Bottlenecking, seems this really needs some more calcification, also maybe show them what is a mild and a bad bottleneck.

Yes and no. If you play games at lower resolutions like 1080p then it will bottleneck, but you'll still get super high fps in most cases, so any bottleneck here won't really be noticeable. At higher resolutions like 4k, the 1080ti may become the bottleneck.

Yes, the i7 7700k will bottleneck the 1080 Ti in Quake II at 360p.
