Rx 460 rendering problem

Hello ltt community. Recently i bought rx 460 2Gb by Asus. Today i tried rendering in Sony Vegas 13 (with openCl) and in rendering it performs worse than my pentium g3258 @3.2. I can't figure out why it renders that slow.if you could help me that would be nice

I think it might be that it's the 2gb version. I have the 4gb version by sapphire and it kills any title at 1080p. Rendering is very demanding, so recomend selling your 460 and get a better gpu. The performance gap between the 460 and the 470 is HUGE (about 70%) and from the 470 to the 480 is about 30%. Or at least get the 4gb 460.

Are you drivers up to date?

 

Maybe you should remove them and reinstall. It might clear up your problem

System specs:

4790k

GTX 1050

16GB DDR3

Samsung evo SSD

a few HDD's

At the moment i can't. Im underage and still in school. :/

I think i will just reinstall sony vegas... It seems like the RX 460 is by 30 frames faster when rendering
