This is a budget of for streaming and content creation

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

my budget is about $900 us. Please give me advice on my build. Also please don't put items that are on sale for a limited time It be a little tell I get pc saving up money at this moment.

This is the rig I have chosen from some suggestions

CSM is overpriced for what it is, S12ii is where it's at for budget builds

Ryzen is way better for streaming and rendering, and this build is only $40ish more. Downgrade to a 60Hz monitor and you can fit a 240GB SSD

Also, get the unlocked version (i7 7700k and overclock)

or Ryzen 1700 (overclock to 3.7-4 GHz)

Ryzen is so much better for streaming, editing and rendering

thats overbudgeting...

How will a CPU with 2 less cores and 4 less threads be the same ............... ?

Ryzen overclocks like trash from what we've seen anyway so this makes no sense

ryzen overclocks bad on large amounts of cores, and has been tested to overclock better when things like smt were disabled, so it makes sense that if 4 threads were gone it will overclock better. The 1600x will be a good compromise of multi and single threaded performance.

WHAT IN THE...

This is the exact same PC I'm thinking to build!

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/vz3nKZ

Edit: almost, well, same cpu, ram and psu...

By the way, this psu seems legit for what it is. Kitguru tested it, the protection on it is good. It has overpower and overvoltage protection, which should keep overclocking safe, even when the actual wattage of the build is very low.

Just because they don't sell it in your country it's unreliable! But of course!

60GB SSD for fast boot times, I can't afford the largest and best SSDs...
