TV For Movies & Gaming

Inrix

I'm considering getting a 4k TV as the final monitor for my setup (I allready have a 1440p 165hz main and two other 1440p secondaries) for mainly movie watching with some gaming on games I want res over hz, also probably some programming work too ofc.

How bad would that TV be for gaming? It dosnt appear to have anything that would cause issues but I might be missing something... If you want you can try to find something better but my budget is the same cost as that one and it needs to be from the same site, I would also prefer HDR.

Also is HDR worth it? I will be using this with a Win10 Computer so can I even utilize it most of the time? Or would I be better with getting a non HDR one and saving money/getting different features?

Psst.

TVs have lots of input lag and some can be dreadful.

Get some off this list: https://displaylag.com/best-low-input-lag-tvs-gaming-by-gamers/

Except all of the TV's on that list are literally double my budget.... Any suggestions of tvs from PBTech or this site: https://pricespy.co.nz/category.php?k=107 ?

Curved, low-input-lag goodness

4k 60hz with no joke 19.4ms input lag.

Even with HDR it's only 20.1ms

Yea, but thats still 1.7k vs my max budget of 1-1.1k

this had good reviews last year with around 32ms input lag even at 4k + hdr

Where are you finding the input lag? and is HDR worth it if its going to be runnin off win10?

Would something like this be good: https://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=3613828

Pretty much all low latency tv's are too expensive so I looked at monitors and this was whats available: https://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?j=3613828,4000688,2839433

The above seemed like the best choice.

My dad owns a 32" version of the 3rd one with the comparison. It fails to push 75hz when you want to but it's quite good for racing sims and multitasking.

Response time is quite snappy feeling as well. I'd say get it, yeah :P

idk

they seem pretty similar, they're monitors built for PC use so I'd say go for either, just go with the one that's the most aesthetically pleasing

idk
