Literally all of that is wrong

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

It's not about hating Mac, it's about Hackintosh's technically being illegal / against Apples EULA which means it's best not to discuss on this forum. If you wanna talk Hackintosh's you should head over to TonyMacx86- forum is built for hackintosh.

EDIT: Regular questions about regular macs are cool tho

He's using a Hackintosh.

Not a real Mac.

In the community standards, it is set out:

Quote

Talking about piracy in general, broad details, is acceptable however the posting or discussing pirated/hacked/cracked or otherwise nefariously obtained content is not. This includes Windows content, games, hackintosh, etc. Also discussions regarding ways to avoid or block legitimately installed monitoring/tracking software or the like is also not allowed.

idk

Hackintoshing is against Apples EULA their-forth against the law and as LMG has to stay above board no matter how small of a transgression!

It's best to keep all the Hackintoshing Questions to communities that support that!

As stated, the thread was locked because it was about assisting a user with their Hackintosh machine.

To clarify some things, to the best of my knowledge, it's not actually illegal, but, yes, it is against Apple's EULA, which is why it's against out Community Standards to ask for or help with it.

Macs are real Macs - the operating system is supplied by Apple for use with their hardware.

Hackintoshes are not real Macs - the operating system is shoehorned onto normal X86 hardware and booted using a special bootloader. It is in violation of Apple's EULA, but I don't care. I'm typing this on a hackintosh laptop right now lmao

Exactly, I too have a hackintosh- you just can't tell people on this forum how to make one, etc. go to TonyMacX86 for that.
