The only problem i have with MSI is their customer support. They make pretty good products. However after having to RMA the same motherboard 3 times before i could get it so it wouldn't die when i over clock past 5.5Ghz. So yes they're a good manufacturer, But i'd have my fingers crossed when you buy from them that you get a good board.

Also how do you know if it's good? Read the box before you buy it. They're good at marketing and they make great Motherboards. However some are just shit. I've killed two of their motherboards when over clocking a 3770K to about 4.5Ghz. The one i have now lasted until 5.5Ghz and i wasn't pushing any farther with the cooling i have. Now for an APU i think you're just fine with one of their motherboards. Their customer support isn't the worst i've seen. However no where near the best.

and is this a good one ?

AMD A-Series A10-6800K 4.1GHz Socket FM2

I find them very good. APU's are awesome for budget builds!

For example, i'll be building an APU rig here for work soon. Just for the light stuff i do at work. You have the best APU on the market, and for general usage and light gaming they're amazing.

Are going to get a GPU? If no then get an APU.(Yes, that one is fine)If you are getting a GPU then get the FX6300. Or maybe even an Athlon X4 750K.

OK 4000? is that good or more?

Go ask your parents how much they're willing to spend. $4000 is more then almost any parent i know would spend on a computer for their kid.

The post I passed and didn't feel like pressing back to quote it.

Just being a smartass, as usual. But seriously. That A10 is badass, for an APU.
