Pros:

  • Powerful Sapphire Nitro r9 Fury OC+ GPU. (I have one of these and it overclocks to point where it's  about as strong as a Fury X... I'm not the only one I know whose r9 fury is like this).
  • Hot colors and black color scheme (black mobo with bronze accents, black case with red led and red accents, black ram with red designs, PSU is black with ketchup and mustard cables mostly invisible inside black cable sleeves, GPU is black and very dark silver with a dark metal backplate that has neat designs on it).
  • Case has a window to show off your color scheme and BA GPU backplate (lol).
  • This build targets 1440p 16:9 gaming, but could easily power a second monitor.
  • Fairly strong 500 watt power supply.
  • skylake series CPU means I don't need a second CPU on hand to update the mobo to run its kabylake counterpart.

Cons:

  • Overbuget (come on man, it's $1.75 over, give me a break)
  • Micro ATX mobo in a mid tower that supports ATX (lots of open space that'll look a bit off through the case window, but the case is pretty compact for a midtower).
  • Not much storage, but plenty if you keep your save files and cycle through your games by uninstalling and re-downloading later if desired.
  • No SSD (honestly only a big deal for the first minute or 2 when starting the computer... so not much of a problem at all)

CPU: i7 4790k @ 4.7 GHz

GPU: XFX GTS RX580 4GB

Cooling: Corsair h100i

Mobo: Asus z97-A

RAM: 4x8 GB 1600 MHz Corsair Vengence

PSU: Corsair HX850

Case: NZXT S340 Elite Tempered glass edition

Display: LG 29UM68-P

Keyboard: Roccat Ryos MK FX RGB

Mouse: Logitech g900 Chaos Spectrum

Headphones: Sennheiser HD6XX

OS: Windows 10 Home
