Is this a new build? If so did you test the PSU beforehand and did you make sure your RAM is in the right DIMM slots on the mobo? If not, did you change anything in your PC recently?

the psu is brand new its the corsar rm1000i that has a 10 year warranty

its a one year old pc not new build

time to "short the pins" and see what voltages you get. or just RMA everything.

the psu and the case which doent matter

Have you considered breadboarding it to test? I know it seems silly but your case could also cause a short if something on the mobo is touching it. Did you use all the standoffs required?

Maybe if you have the time you can try that and if it still isnt working then I would maybe consider looking up RMA options.

Also your new PSU is modular so make sure you are plugging in your cables in the right places too.

I really suggest you breadboard it first (run it outside the case) before you do an RMA. You might find it works. If it doesn't then consider RMA'ing things.

try to build it on something like the box the mobo came in and don't build on carpets to reduce the change of you mucking something up with static.
