Well shit. I feel kinda bad for starting this thread now. 

Think im gona get the Fiio E10 

Don't feel bad, some of us enjoyed it, and some of us learnt stuff, like you can get more info out of your computer with a com port than sticking your head against the monitor :D

 

You'll enjoy the Fiio E10,  it'll serve you well over several headphones and PC's.

Hey Im looking for a good headphone amp for my audio technica's ath m50's and I produce uplifting trance/dance music and looking for a good hedphone amp around 80-$250 USD price range.. A usb amp that sits on my desk will do. Btw any know any sites that sell like audio stuff and ship world wide for free or for a small fee?

You don't really need a headphone amp for those headphones as far as I know.

i think you are more likely looking for a DAC and not an amp. Get a Fiio E10 or and O2 odac+amp

So you can decode all the stuff that is never used? Amp > dac.

friends said they noticed and improvement with their m50's with a fiio E10. and i use mine with a custom one pro and their is definitly a big difference for me. so thats why im suggesting it

my onboard sound card is ass or maybe there are no good drivers for it. but it definitly makes a different. its not the amp part because i dont crank stuff up that loud

So your music is suddenly encoded in 24/96? Its not the dac, dacs have little to nothing to do with tonality.

thats why i have an entry level DAC/amp cause i dont have that format of music nor the gear to fully apreciate it. 

it makes a difference everyone ive tested it with says there is a difference in clarity. 

so are u saying no one should ever buy a dac unless they have their music encoded in 24/96?

Pretty much, because your music is probably 16/44-48, and the amp is what is making the tonality difference, not the dac.

Sorry OP that we ruined your thread. apparently this has turned more into people telling me i dont know what i hear through my own 2 ears.

hope someone better educated can give their opinion to help u better than i did
