So I have a gaming rig in my office, and I want to use it in my bedroom wirelessly. I was thinking of having a NUC or Raspberry Pi in my bedroom and somehow stream my Gaming Rig across LAN? I have tried using Remmina Remote Desktop on a laptop as a proof of concept and it was very unreliable. I was wondering is there is some kind of virtualisation or maybe a thin client or something to do this? The client in my bedroom will have its own peripherals. Anyone have any ideas, suggestions or guides on what I should do? Thanks

The problem with wireless is that it's rather unreliable for applications like this. If you want to do remote stuff, it's best to do it over a wire. This problem is compounded if you have devices that don't speak the same 802.11 type or run at the same speed.
