Yeah, you have a 3GB 1060. Not worth, especially with 4GB 480's being pretty cheap right now.

My friend told me that it won't make a difference if it's 1gb more and that the nvdia drivers make the 1060 a better choice

it'll make a difference, 3gb won't cut it for new AAA games anymore, and the rx 480 4gb is better than the 1060 3gb. AMD's drivers are also much better than their old ones.

he is wrong, the 480 is much better than a 1060 3gb, also a 1060 3gb is a 1050ti buffed up not vary comparable to a 1060. a rx480 has better drivers support and cheaper.

Your friend's and idiot. At this point, you pretty much need 4GBs of VRam, especially for higher 1080p, not to mention the drivers being better being moot.

Should I go with an 8gb or a 4gb? 8 is $40 more. I don't think it will make much of a difference for 1080p.

I like that but that monitor isn't worth the extra $100 to me even if it it a little faster, but I can get two hp Pavillion 22cwa monitors for that price. Second I heard that I should get a tier 1 power supply which is basically a list on this forum that has the best power supplys. Third, I don't like the included fans because my other friend said they would break after a while and they arent pwm so they are gonna be noisy. Fifth, I don't want a membrane keyboard I like the Logitech because romer g switches are quiet and the keyboard has a built in phone stand and come with a control app that also control the Logitech mouse I had. And sixth, I would need a Bluetooth adapter because my headphones are Bluetooth.

Oh sorry the cooler master keyboard is a mechanical like keyboard good enough for $30. I guess I can just get a cheap phone stand.

1. the monitor supports 144hz which will provide far better smoothness compared to any regular 60hz monitor. even supports freesync which will provide even better smoothness on top of the high refresh rate.

2. no, you don't need a tier 1 power supply, where did you heard that from? any tier 1-3 power supply is more than good enough for a high-end build. the CX550M is good quality, no need to get something like a GS(which btw, isn't tier 1).

3. all fans will break eventually. the fractal's fans are good enough, and just because it's not pwm doesn't mean it will be noisy, and they are quiet.

5. dude, the asrock h110m-itx/ac supports bluetooth 4.0. http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-ITXac/

if you really want mechanical switches, that's fine but spend the money on other more critical parts of the pc first, then shell out for expensive peripherals. alternatively get your windows from reddit for $20-30 and use the money saved for the keyboard you want.

Coming from someone who recently upgraded from Devastator IIs I can say that they are amazing for their price. I found their switches to be very good, especially for being mem-chanical, I actually find myself missing the DPI switch on the mouse compared to my DeathAdder.

yes, the i5s will struggle in some newer AAA games with something like a gtx 1070(the fury does come close to it) in 1080p 144hz and the ryzen 7 1700 doesn't perform as well in gaming as the i7.
