Skyrim SE Polaris Performance. New Monitor?

So I decided to pick up skyrim se and tried it on my rx480 build and had terrible performance at 1080p usually under 40fps. it turns out that disabling the Vsync in the games ini file fixed it and gives me a stable 60fps. I had to obviously cap the fps and i did so using amds radeon software. Now I'm getting notable screen tearing which is really killing me inside so here's my decision.

1. Just deal with it and enjoy great performance.

2. Enable the ingame vsync and cry at terrible performance.

3. Buy a freesync monitor?

What do you guys think? Either that or I'm having a different issue and can't find a fix.

If you do get a new monitor, get 1440p and get a freesync. There is no premium charge on freesync, at least no where near like g-sync.
