Installing fonts screwed up other fonts?

Sweepyoface

I was recently installing a few fonts for an After Effects animation I was doing, and after that fonts in everything from Chrome to Steam games have been looking weird. Here is what the homepage of this site currently looks like (among many other sites):

As you can see, it's not supposed to look like that. This also happens on many other sites and in all browsers. I've tried resetting Chrome and using the "Restore default font settings" option in Windows 10, to no avail.

I don't even know what to Google for this, and have not seen anyone else with this issue. It also happened on my old computer a couple years ago. Would anyone know of a solution to this that isn't a reinstall?

Fixed! I had a custom font installed called "Helvetica Neue UltraLight" which seemed to be overriding regular Helvetica for some reason, I just had to delete that.
