CEMU emulator, but it is still hit or miss for the bulk of games and requires a lot of set up before hand

you'll have to pirate the games you already own, there's no system that i know of that can import physical disks to your computer :)

but we can't help you with pirating stuff, and you should only pirate stuff that you actually bought legitimately :)

Download the CEMU emulator. Some games run great or even perfectly, and other run horribly or don't run at all. I know that Wind Waker HD runs perfectly, aside from texture cache freezing that will happen from time to time

You don't actually have to download games on the internet. You can dump them from the actual discs and a friend's console if you don't own one.

EDIT: Sounds like you're new to the emulation scene. Almost every console from NES to Wii U and 3DS can be run on your computer via emulators that mimic the environment of the consoles. Emulators for the older consoles are mostly complete and run very efficiently. Wii U (CEMU) and 3DS (Citra) emulators are works in progress. You CAN play some games but the emulators are far from finished.

Making a media copy or ripping it into a file for own personal storage/usage is not classified as pirating in a lot of country jurisdictions though, as long as you do not sell or make it peer to peer available that is.

yup but you can only acquire these files via the internet via ways that other people use to download it illegally :)

Wait can you copy the files to your computer with just the console and the disk? wouldn't that encourage piracy? It surely can't be this easy right?

The whole piracy and emulation thing is complete BS. I don't even care about it. No games are losing sales due to emulation piracy.

And yeah, you can dump the files. Check out the Citra website tutorials for dumping 3DS games. Pretty neat

totally agree, but i have always wondered why this is the case. Is it simply that the new consoles are just so different in terms of their architecture that it would require a supercomputer to emulate it ? just seems confusing that we have PC's now that process vast amounts of information, yet we can't emulate something that is usually less powerful than some PC's

Home PC:

Cemu is a wii U emulator and plays many games at 4k at full speed very well.

Not so sure about the Xbox 360 but definitely the PS3 is way different than PC architecture. Probably why its not possible to emulate without insanely powerful hardware or if at all. The Cell architecture is quite a ways different to the normal PC X86 that we have. Hence why it was a nightmare to code for
