Just use FileZilla FTP and enforce FTPS connectivity only

That is secure enough and prevents plain text based authentication.  The software is free and relatively easy to set up.

I had looked at FileZilla, and it seems like it suits home-users more-so than enterprise or small business.

I am looking for someone to help me setup an FTP site for our business. I would like the FTP site accessible by our traveling salespeople, and our customers. I will compensate for this of course.

Nope, use it in enterprise solutions on a daily basis, just make sure you are using FTPS and not just normal FTP without encryption.

I think it would be more appropriate to make a NextCloud server which supports encryption, user management, 2FA, WebDav so you can mount a share on a PC, etc. It's enterprise ready and also Free. Maintenance and installation is a breeze. If you want, I can help you with that. I've just setup one for the FloatPlaneClub on Centos 7 and it is working like a champ.

How much storage do you need?

I just finished building a 36TB server. Since we are essentially a media creation business, we deal with extremely large artwork files. Also, we don't want to pay the premium for cloud hosting storage, as well as having to increase our network bandwidth from our ISP.

Catboiler gave you a very very good solution to your problem as it litterally checks all the boxes you provided.
