i have a 6600k and a asus strix 1080 am looking to upgrade my cpu eventually and am planning on going to AMD for ryzen unless intel really lowers there prices and comes out with better processors and i was wondering what the process would be for switching to the AMD cpu. i know how to build it and put it all together i just want to know if i will have weird problems with the new hardware not syncing with windows 10.

You will be fine with Windows. Changing mobo is totally fine. If Windows got deactivated just re sign in to Win account or contact MS directly

Cant you have a driver conflict by replacing MoBo on the same windows install?

If it works, make sure you uninstall the old drivers unless you are asking for issues

Yes.  It's unlikely that most of the drivers will be compatible, so it should revert to using Windows drivers until you install new ones.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!

You can re-activate Windows 10 in the Settings menu after you swap out the motherboard.
