should i reuse my laptop hdd as a desktop pc storage?

i mean not as like a main drive, but like for various media like photos or videos or movies sure

but will it perform same like a "normal" hdd if it has the same specs as a regular market hdd one?

A desktop and laptop hard drive work in exactly the same way, there is no difference in the way they work other than the form factor. So a 500GB 3.5" 7,200RPM drive will give you the same experience as a similar 2.5" drive.

it is probobly 5,200 rpm so it is probobly slower than a 7,200 rpm market hdd

I have used a few in the past.  My personal experience with them was they worked, but they were significantly slower than my existing drives were.  I ended up getting rid of them because they were so slow.  They all were in use in their laptops for several years before reclaiming them, so they were old tech by the time I took them from the laptop
