Is this IO shield gud?

KG15

I always have trouble with IO shields and in this serious build I don't think that I put it right although with fixing the motherboard to the case, the motherboard can't get closer to the IO.

but still, doesn't look goodIMG_7583.JPG

Looks like something near the center is pushing the  IO shield out, does it have those metal prongs on the io shield?

Yes! I've blended them already a little, should I bend it even more?

those i/o shields can be a slippery mistress.  You should be able to slip it in without bending the metal prongs too much, the mobo will press against them and hold them down

all IO sheilds iv installed exept the one for my main computer have had varying dergrees of this, but this is a bit more then iv had with any case that hasnt had a back panel that you can bend with two fingers. its most likely fine seeing as the IO sheild is basically doing two things, 1: looking good 2: keeping you from sticking your USB stick straight into something critical on your motherboard and shorting it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I've tried finding the thing that makes the IO bulge in the middle but with no succes, it's just a bad IO shield.

shall I just keep it that way?
