I am building a whole computer system on the cheap, it is an older fellow and he will be using this for basic internet type usage. What do you think of this set up. He does need monitor keyboard mouse speakers.

Looks fine to me. I would suggest windows 7 not 8 though.

Get an SSD if you can.

Like the other dude said, 7 not 8. In my experience older people have no idea how to do anything on 8, and find 7 much easier to use.

Basically the same system but added an SSD cache for a much better experience , also supreme cooling in terms of quietness , the system will be inaudible and completely silent. Also the board has built-in wifi.

Anyone know of any videos that show side by side comparison of a boot with a HD and SSD? I know there are but im looking for a basic not to many words video

why would you suggest windows 7? I like both equally. Whats your opinion?

I don't find any problems about windows 8. Its basically the same just a different start menu that looks cooler. I actually find Win 8 pretty useful.
